To give the best Feature Story, I have to first learn how a fashion magazine would do so. Since my theme is fashion I went ahead to search from different websites to find the tips and rules known fashion magazines use. I would be writing a feature story under Personality Profiles which is a type of story used for magazines. It tends to bring the audience closer to the one being interviewed. The Person whom I am interviewing will be an alumni of F.I.T, located in New York City. She is a fashion designer and has very own page and store. I would asking about her journey from before ever thinking of being a fashion designer to after she graduated. As well as her personal views on Fashion and exciting experiences she has had through her career.

I took the time to Edit the various Pictures from the last photoshoot with Saray Carvajal. The reasons to edit pictures is to emphasize color so it can be pleasing to the eye.

In the second picture (edited) we can see how she has more emphasize in color and you can see the highlights in her hair and a brighter color in her clothing and shoes, so she isn't washed away by the red background.

A fashion magazine doesn't really have much to talk about, it's usually more pictures of the clothing articles, but they are accompanied by a short description or a short paragraph of the model's or the editor's view. I will be including short paragraphs from the point of view of the models along side their picture to get a quick glance at what Fashion looks like through their eyes.

As the feature story  being one of the important articles in my magazine, I have to make sure it's done correctly and for that I have to conduct research. The Following information has come from websites from the internet explaining and giving examples as to what a Feature Story covers and how it should be carried out within the magazine.

According to Thoughtco.com a feature story includes News, Profile spots, and trend stories.

As to how to write a feature story, Edusson.com shows 6 easy steps to doing so, including

1. Choose an interesting, newsworthy subject.
2. Schedule a convenient, in-person interview.
3. Choose your quotes.
4. Write your draft.
5. Ask for approval/clarification before publishing.
6. Move forward.
